Melnitsa
The musical group Melnitsa whose songs have already become quite popular is a Russian group performing folk-rock. The collective mill Wikipedia informs us was formed in the city of Moscow in October 1999. The songwriter and part-time vocalist of the group is Natalya O'Shey, better known under the pseudonym - Helavisa. The team was not created from scratch, as is often the case with musicians. Former members of the Till Ulenspiegel team decided to assemble a new, exciting and extraordinary line-up with a new musical program. At the first performance of the group on October 29, 1999, the old name of the group "Till Ulenspiegel" was indicated on the poster of the "Mill" event, since the new name was not yet known and recognized by the public. The team is releasing their debut album, The Road to Sleep. It includes songs arranged by Ruslan Komlyakov. In 2005, the group became popular thanks to the media and mass media, in particular due to: "Our Radio" and the hit parade "Chartova Dozen". The Melnitsa group, holding a concert together with the fans and admirers of the Melnitsa collective, organized a flash mob and knocked the song "Night Mare" into the honorable TOP of the hit parade. Since that time, this song has become a component of the track list of "Our Radio". At the end of 2005, changes took place in the team. A couple of participants abandon the team and create their own project called "Sylphs". The remaining musicians of the Melnitsa group are forced to look for replacements for them. Backing vocalist Alevtina Leontyeva appears, with whose participation "Melnitsa" records the album "Call of Blood" in 2006. A year later, Alevtina leaves the group for reasons unknown to the public. In 2009, the Melnitsa group recorded a new album with the loud name Wild Herbs. After hard months of work, the guys released a collection of hits called "The Mill: The Best Songs". It includes two new compositions: "Sheep" and "Take Care of Yourself". The single was valuable because it was released in a small limited edition, and could only be purchased at concerts dedicated to Christmas in winter. This mini-album was never reissued again.
